Northwestern is a Lock

I had the pleasure of being at the Northwestern game tonight. You know, the game where they beat Michigan on a Hail Mary buzzer beater layup, reignited the Wildcat fan base and clinched their spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. Yeah, that one.

I am by no means a Northwestern fan, but I think we all have to appreciate what is going on here. This is the ONLY power conference team to have never played in the NCAA Tournament. That is a drought of 77 years. Now, in what seems to be a Chicago sports renaissance, they are most likely a lock for the tournament.
