What a great way to cap off the regular season with Duke and North Carolina. It was truly back and forth throughout the entire game, and the Tar Heels pulled out a victory to clinch the ACC title outright. Joel Berry II was phenomenal, pouring in 28 points (5-5 3PT). North Carolina proved themselves worthy of a 1 seed with tonight's performance. Duke also played well. Luke Kennard also had 28 points, and Grayson Allen made some difficult shots.
As the tournament fast approaches, we are seeing more teams lose while playing pretty good basketball. Teams are starting to figure it out, and just playing "well" isn't going to cut it anymore. We are about to see a shift in the way games are played. The postseason is a completely different animal, and who comes out on top will be determined by who can adjust their play accordingly.
