Jersey Appreciation Friday Vol. 1

The first jersey I chose for Jersey Appreciation Friday was the black Duke jersey that was worn from 2009-2014. Personally, I don't think that the new Duke uniforms even hold a candle to this one. The black mixed with the royal blue print and trim create an awesome look that exemplifies Duke's tradition. The thin white stripes on the sides further enhance the deadly black and blue combination. The fact that Duke retired these makes me hate their new uniforms even more because any Duke basketball product compared to this jersey looks like a hot mess.
